At 35 minutes, the Paint it Black documentary includes interviews with student leaders like Courtney Guein and Tim Gant, as well as with members of Drake University’s administration like President Marty Martin and Provost Sue Mattison. This footage chronicles the events on Drake’s campus during November 2018 following the racist threat made against a Drake student on November 7th. Reporting by Rachel James.
